Welcome to the Zarla Affiliate Program!
Whether you’re a blogger, marketer, or just passionate about helping small businesses grow, our affiliate program lets you earn money by referring new customers to Zarla. It’s a win-win partnership – you help others discover an awesome AI-powered website builder, and you get rewarded with a generous 40% one-time commission for each new customer’s first subscription payment. (Yes, 40%, paid out once per referred customer’s first purchase – more on that below.)
We’ve made the process simple and rewarding. Here are some highlights of what you can expect:
Fast, free sign-up: Joining the program is quick and free. Apply in minutes and, once approved, you’ll get access to your affiliate dashboard.
Easy performance tracking: Our program runs on the TUNE platform (a popular affiliate tracking system), giving you a user-friendly dashboard to monitor clicks, sign-ups, and commissions in real time.
Ready-made promo materials: Need banners or logos? We’ve got you covered. You’ll find approved marketing assets in your dashboard, so you can promote Zarla with professional-looking materials.
Generous 40% commission: Earn a 40% commission on each new customer’s first paid subscription you refer – paid as a one-time reward. (For example, if someone signs up for a plan worth $200/year, you’d earn $80 from that one referral.) Plus, referrals are tracked for up to 30 days after they click your link (thanks to a 30-day cookie window ). That means even if your visitor doesn’t subscribe immediately, you can still get credit if they upgrade within 30 days of the click!
Sound good? Let’s dive into the details of how to get started and make the most of the Zarla affiliate program.
Getting Started: Joining the Program Step-by-Step
Getting started with Zarla’s affiliate program is straightforward. Follow these steps to sign up and start earning:
Apply for an affiliate account: Go to https://affiliates.zarla.com/signup – this is our affiliate portal. Fill out the short application form with your details. Signing up is completely free, and it only takes a minute or two. (If you’re already a Zarla user, you’ll still need a separate affiliate account – anyone can apply!)
Wait for approval: After submitting your application, our team will review it. Approval is usually quick – often within a business day. You’ll get a confirmation email once you’re approved and officially in the program.
Log in to your affiliate dashboard: Once approved, log in at affiliates.zarla.com using the credentials provided. This will take you to your Zarla affiliate dashboard. Here’s where all the magic happens – you’ll be able to create tracking links, see your stats, and manage your account.
Find your tracking link: In your dashboard, navigate to the Offers section. You should see the Zarla Standard Offer listed there – click on it. Your unique referral URL (tracking link) will be displayed under a field titled “Your Tracking Link.” This is the special URL that tracks visitors and sign-ups back to your account and will look like
https://go.zar.la/aff_c?offer_id=1&aff_id=1000. Copy this link – you’ll use it whenever you promote Zarla. You can also customize the link if needed: for instance, the dashboard lets you choose a specific landing page or “deep link” for your URL (more on that below). By default, the link will send people to Zarla’s website builder page and automatically credit you for any sign-ups.(Optional) Customize your link landing page: Zarla’s affiliate system allows you to direct traffic to different pages. Under the link settings, you will find a “Landing Page” dropdown where you can select a specific page (for example our Pricing page or other seasonal special promo pages) if you prefer. The default is our website builder page. You can also create a deep link to any specific URL on Zarla’s site by using the “Add Deep Link” option and pasting the desired Zarla URL. This is handy if you want to link to a blog article or a particular feature page while still tracking the referral.
Promote your affiliate link: Now the fun part – start sharing your link to introduce people to Zarla! You can place your affiliate URL on your website or blog, include it in how-to articles or reviews about Zarla, share it on social media, or even send it to friends/clients who need a website builder. Feel free to use the marketing assets(banners, images, logos, etc.) provided in the affiliate dashboard to enhance your promotions. Important: When recommending Zarla, always be honest and transparent. Let your audience know that it’s an affiliate link and you may earn a commission – not only is this required by FTC guidelines (if you are in the US), it also builds trust with your audience. And of course, only promote Zarla in legitimate ways (no spam or shady tactics – see the “Program Guidelines” section below for what to avoid).
Once you hit $100 in commissions you can email affiliates@zarla.com to request a payout. We use PayPal or bank transfer depending on your country.
That’s it – you’re all set up! Now, let’s go over how to keep track of your progress and understand your earnings.
Tracking Your Performance in the Dashboard
Once you’ve got your affiliate link out in the world, you’ll want to see how your promotions are doing. Your Zarla affiliate dashboard is your best friend here. It provides real-time data on the traffic and sales you’re generating.
When you log in, the main dashboard page will show a summary of your recent performance. By default, it will display stats for the last 7 days (you can adjust the date range to see more data). Here are the key metrics you’ll see:
Clicks: How many times people have clicked your affiliate link. Every click from a potential customer is logged here.
Conversions: How many purchases you’ve referred – in other words, the number of new Zarla subscriptions attributed to you. In affiliate-speak, a “conversion” means your referral converted into a paying customer. This is the most important number, since commissions are based on conversions.
Payout/Earnings: How much commission you’ve earned so far. The dashboard may show this in different time frames (for example, “payout in the last 7 days” and “total payout this year”). Initially, when you’re just starting, these will be $0 – but as you refer customers, you’ll see this grow!
To dig deeper into your performance, explore the Reports section of the dashboard. The “Performance Report” can show you breakdowns of clicks, conversions, and revenue over time, which is great for analyzing trends (like which months or campaigns performed best). There’s also a “Conversions” report, where you can see each individual referral sale listed. This report is super useful – it shows the status of each conversion (e.g., pending or approved), the date of the sale, the amount of the sale, and the commission earned from it.
Pending vs. approved conversions
When you refer a customer who makes a purchase, that conversion might not become immediately payable. Zarla has a 45-day validation period for conversions. This means each referred sale will be marked as “pending” initially, and it will turn “approved” after the customer’s first 45 days have passed without the subscription being canceled or refunded. (This corresponds to Zarla’s 45-day money-back period or fraud-check window – basically, we just want to ensure the customer sticks around and there are no chargebacks). Once a conversion is approved, it counts toward your payable commission balance. You can view the status of each conversion in your dashboard’s conversion report or sometimes right on the main page. Don’t worry if you see a delay – that’s normal. After 45 days, pending conversions will move to approved status and then you’re in the clear to get paid for those.
Commission Payouts: How and When You Get Paid
Alright, let’s talk about the best part – getting paid your commissions! Here’s how payouts work in the Zarla affiliate program:
Commission rate: As highlighted earlier, you earn 40% of the new customer’s first subscription payment as a one-time commission for each conversion. If a referred user buys an annual plan for $200, for example, your commission would be $80. (Subsequent renewals or purchases by that same customer won’t generate new commissions for you, since the program rewards only the first purchase of a new customer.)
Cookie window: The tracking cookie lasts 30 days. This means if someone clicks your link and doesn’t subscribe immediately, you’ll still get commission as long as they upgrade within 30 days of that click. You don’t have to do anything special to enable this – it’s all handled by our tracking system.
Payout methods: Zarla offers payouts via PayPal and bank wire transfer. You can choose your preferred method.
PayPal – Minimum payout is $100 in accumulated commissions. This is a convenient option for most affiliates; once you hit $100 in approved commissions, you’re eligible to get paid via PayPal.
Bank Transfer (Wire) – Minimum payout is $500. This option is useful if you accumulate larger amounts or prefer direct bank deposits. Keep in mind international wires might have fees, and your bank info needs to be entered correctly to avoid any hiccups.
First payout requirement – 3 conversions: To maintain quality, we require affiliates to have at least three (3) approved conversions before requesting their very first payout. This means if your first couple of referrals are successful, you’ll need to get a third one across the finish line before you can withdraw the commissions. Don’t worry – after you’ve made three sales, you’re free to cash out as soon as you meet the minimum dollar threshold. This policy helps ensure we’re building a base of active, engaged affiliates. (It’s a one-time requirement – just for the first payout.)
When are commissions paid? Zarla processes affiliate commissions on a regular cycle. Approved commissions are generally paid out approximately 45 days after the end of the month in which the conversion happened. In practice, this usually means payouts occur roughly in the middle of the following month (to account for that 45-day waiting period). For example, if you referred a customer in January and their conversion was approved by mid-March (after 45 days), your commission from that sale would be paid out in the March payout cycle (around mid-to-late March). Similarly, commissions for February approvals would be paid around mid-April, and so on. This schedule ensures that all referrals have cleared the refund window and passed fraud checks.
How to request or receive payment: Once you meet the criteria (minimum amount and 3+ conversions if it’s your first time), you can request a payout by emailing affiliates@zarla.com
No commission on refunds/cancellations: Just as a reminder, if a referred customer cancels or refunds their subscription within the first 45 days, that referral won’t qualify for a commission. The dashboard would reflect this (the conversion would either disappear or remain pending and then get marked ineligible). This is standard practice to make sure commissions are paid only on successful, non-refunded sales.
No monthly quota or pressure
We do not require affiliates to make a certain number of sales each month. You can promote at your own pace. If you go a while without new conversions, that’s okay – your account stays active. However, note that if a very long time passes (over 12 months) with no new conversions, your affiliate account might be marked as “dormant”. Dormant accounts can be reactivated any time; it’s just an administrative status. Also, commissions that you’ve earned won’t sit around forever – any commissions that remain unpaid for over 2 years will expire and be removed from your balance. So it’s a good idea to request your payouts once you’re eligible, and keep your account active if you plan to continue referring. We just want to make sure you actually receive your hard-earned rewards!
Program Guidelines and Best Practices
We want you to succeed and we’re here to support you. In return, we ask all affiliates to follow some common-sense guidelines. These ensure that the program remains fair and beneficial to everyone (affiliates, customers, and Zarla alike). Here are the key rules and best practices to keep in mind:
Use ethical promotion methods: Only use legitimate, honest marketing methods to promote Zarla. No spam, no click-bait, and no misleading claims about what Zarla can do. Be truthful in your content – after all, you’re recommending a product to your audience, and trust is important.
Always disclose your affiliate relationship: Transparency is required by law and it’s good practice. If you share your affiliate link on a blog, social post, YouTube description, etc., include a brief disclosure that it’s an affiliate link and that you may earn a commission. (For example: “This post contains affiliate links. I may earn a commission if you purchase through my link, at no extra cost to you.”) Zarla requires clear disclosure in line with FTC guidelines (if you are in the US) – please make sure your audience knows you’re a partner.
Only use your unique tracking links and approved assets: Don’t try to modify, cloak, or obfuscate your affiliate link. The link we provide you ensures you get credit; altering it or hiding it (for example, using unauthorized URL shorteners or redirect tricks that mask the source) can break tracking or violate the rules. It’s fine to use URL shorteners if they don’t hide the affiliate parameters – but in general, it’s safest to use the links as given or the built-in “Shorten URL” option in your dashboard if available. Also, use only official Zarla marketing materials (logos, banners, etc.) that we provide. Don’t create fake promos or use our branding in ways we haven’t approved.
No bidding on Zarla’s brand or trademarked terms: We do not allow affiliates to bid on keywords like “Zarla”, “Zarla website builder”, or any variations/misspellings of our brand name in Google Ads, Bing Ads, Facebook Ads, or any pay-per-click/search advertising campaigns. In other words, please don’t run ads that compete with our own advertising or that could confuse users by appearing to be an official Zarla ad. This includes using “Zarla” as a Google Ads keyword or as the display URL in an ad. If you are doing paid advertising, focus on generic keywords or your own brand, not ours. (Organic SEO and content marketing are great, though!)
Don’t misuse coupons or incentives: Zarla may occasionally issue special promo codes or run promotions. As an affiliate, do not use any unauthorized coupon codes or promise additional discounts that we haven’t provided. Also, you shouldn’t offer people cash or equivalents as an incentive to buy through your link (for example, giving someone part of your commission as a rebate). Such tactics are against the rules and can lead to disqualification.
No self-referrals or fraudulent sign-ups: You cannot refer yourself (or your own business) and earn commission on that – sorry! The spirit of the program is to bring in new external customers. Any attempts at self-referral (like creating a new account through your link to get a discount or commission) or referring obviously fake/spam customers will be detected and voided. This also means you shouldn’t use the same IP address or device to trigger a bunch of sign-ups through your link – that’ll raise red flags. Basically, one affiliate account per person, and promote to real users. If we find deliberate fraud (e.g., using VPNs or dummy accounts to simulate referrals), those commissions will be canceled and the affiliate account could be suspended. Play it straight and you’ll be fine.
Respect intellectual property and branding: Do not impersonate Zarla or misrepresent your relationship. For example, don’t create social media pages that look like official Zarla profiles, and don’t use our logo in a way that suggests you’re an employee or agent of Zarla. You are a partner, which you can proudly say, but you’re not official Zarla support. Also, avoid any content that could harm our brand’s reputation. Essentially, promote Zarla in a positive, truthful way and there’s no issue.
Stay up-to-date and ask if unsure: Our program terms (including commission rates or policies) can evolve over time. We’ll notify you via the dashboard or email if there are important changes. Be sure to read those updates. If you’re ever unsure whether a particular promotion method or idea is allowed, feel free to ask us! We’re here to help. You can reach out to our affiliate team anytime at affiliates@zarla.com. We’d much rather clarify upfront than have you unknowingly violate a rule.
Report issues promptly: If you notice something wrong – say, a sale you think you referred isn’t showing up, or your commission amount seems off – let us know as soon as possible. We recommend reaching out within 30 days of the issue so we can investigate and make corrections if needed. After 30 days, reported stats are considered final, so it’s best to voice any concerns early. Again, you can contact us at affiliates@zarla.com with your affiliate ID and details, and we’ll gladly look into it.
Whew, that might seem like a lot of rules, but they mostly boil down to common sense and fairness. The vast majority of affiliates will never have to worry about breaking rules if you’re genuinely promoting Zarla to real users in a honest way. We just want to be transparent about what’s expected.
