Customizing your Zarla website is as easy as it gets! Once you've signed up for a free Zarla account you can use your mobile device or desktop computer to make changes anytime.

Here are the steps to customize your website:

You can find the blue "Edit" tab on the left-hand side of your desktop screen, or along the bottom of the screen on your mobile device.

After clicking on “Edit,” you will see a row of blue section icons at the bottom of the screen on both your PC and mobile device. Here’s an example:

Don’t be surprised if your icons are slightly different than what you see here. Our AI will create special sections (and icons) just for your website, based on your business.

Clicking on the header icon brings up the following elements:

When you select "Logo" you'll have the option to upload a logo file, generate a new logo from Zarla, or remove your existing logo.

If you click on “Business Name” you can update every mention of your business name throughout your entire website all at once.

Once you’ve made your changes, click on “Save.” If you don’t want to make any changes, you can click on “Cancel.”

Then click the “Back” arrow to return to your row of main section icons.

Clicking on the hero icon brings up your website headline, a few paragraphs of text, a clickable button, and an image. You can change any of these elements by clicking their icon.

Your headline and text paragraphs can be changed as easily as your business name. After clicking on one of your paragraph icons, for example, just highlight and re-type any text you want to change, then click “Save.”

The button icon can link to any other webpage or website online: this could be a booking page, a portfolio, an online shop - the options are endless.

All you need is the URL of the page you want to link to. You can find the URL of any webpage by navigating to that page, and then clicking on the URL bar at the top of your browser:

Copy/paste that URL into the button URL field and click “Save.”

The image icon allows you to generate new images from our library of high-quality photos. If you’d like to add your own images, please contact our support team.

Click on “Back” once you are done to return to the section icons.

This section goes into more detail about your business’s offerings and brand message. The icons for this section allow you to edit the headline and each paragraph.

Click on any icon to open the editor and customize that text.

Click on “Back” once you are done to return to the section icons.

Depending on the type of business you own, you may see an icon titled “Products” or “Services” or something else

With a “Products” section icon, you can customize the text describing the products offered by your business.

PLEASE NOTE: At this time, we do not offer the option to add specific products with prices, images, and buttons to purchase those items from your website. However, you can add your own link to the button in your “Hero” section leading to any online shop you already own.

If you own a service-based business, you may have a “Services” section icon with a bulleted list of services offered by businesses similar to yours.

To change the services you offer, just click on any icon to edit or delete the text.

Then click on “Save” to save your changes, and “Back” to return to the section icons.

If you need to change the location of your business, you can use this section icon to update your address. You can enter the full business address or just the city, state, or region you do business in.

Once you’ve edited your location, click on “Save” and you will automatically be taken back to the section icons. If you don’t want to make any changes, you can click on “Cancel.”

The contact section includes your business’s phone number and a contact form for customers to fill out. Each section of the text, including the different fields of the contact form, can be customized by clicking on the appropriate icon.

PLEASE NOTE: “Name,” “Email,” and “Message” should generally not be changed - these words instruct your visitors to type their name, email, and message.

Once you have customized each section to your preference, click on “Back” to return to the section icons.

The footer of your website allows you to add your social media and email links.

If you click on “Social Media” you can choose from several popular social platforms and add your own social media page URL.

Once you have added your social media links, your website will show those icons in the footer of your website.

Click on “Back” to return to the section icons.
