Customizing your Zarla website is as easy as it gets! Once you've signed up for a free Zarla account you can use your mobile device or desktop computer to make changes anytime.

Here are the steps to customize your website:

After logging in, you'll find your "Edit" tab on the left-hand side of your desktop screen, or along the bottom of your mobile screen.

After choosing “Edit,” you will see a row of circular, blue icons at the bottom of the screen. Each icon represents a different section of your website which can be edited by you.

You can also click the "Add" icon at the end of the row to create new sections with AI.

Every Zarla website has a header containing a logo, menu links, and contact info. A landscaping website header might look something like this:

To make changes to your header, tap or click the "Header" icon in your row of icons at the bottom of your screen. This icon will always be the first icon on the left side:

Your other icons (and sections) will probably look a little different, since Zarla creates special sections just for your website, based on your own business.

Once you've selected the "Header" icon, you'll see three new options to change your logo, business name, and menu links.

When you select "Logo" you'll have the option to generate a new logo from Zarla, upload a logo file, or remove your existing logo.

In the example below, you can see that a Zarla logo is already available and selected.

You can generate a new logo as many times as you like, but currently you can't return to a previously generated logo - so if you like one, keep it. For now, the only logos you can save for later are logo files that you upload, or logos created in Zarla's free Logo Maker.

When you're finished with your logo, select "Back" to return to the previous menu:

Tap or click on “Business Name” to update every mention of your business name throughout your entire website all at once.

If you don’t want to make any changes, you can also click on “Cancel.” Either way, you'll return to the previous menu:

Choosing "Menu Links" allows you to change the text of all the links at the top of your website.

Save your changes or cancel to leave the Menu Links as-is.

Clicking on the hero icon brings up the following options:

Choose the appropriate icon to edit your Hero section's headline, text, button, or image; switch to a different Hero layout; or move the section up and down within your website.

You can also delete it forever using the "Remove Hero" button.

Selecting "Headline" or "Text" for example, allows you to change the existing text to anything you like. Make your edits, then hit “Save" to set your changes live.

Your Hero Button can link to any other webpage or website online: this could be a booking page, a portfolio, an online shop - the options are endless.

All you need is the URL of the page you want to link to. You can find the URL of any webpage by navigating to that page, and then copying the address you see inside the URL bar at the top of your browser:

Paste that address into the Link input field, and click “Save.”

Selecting "Image" allows you to generate new images from our library of high-quality photos, or upload your own images.

After uploading you can crop your images to help them fit the space better, or to focus more on the subject of the photograph.

Choosing "Layout" brings up several options for your Hero section. Tap or click any thumbnail to switch to a different layout:

Click on “Back” once you are done to return to the section icons.

This section goes into more detail about your business’s offerings and brand message. The icons in this section allow you to edit the headline and each paragraph of text, as well as move the section up and down, or delete it completely.

All changes are made instantly, except the "Remove" option which requires you to verify that you do actually want to remove this section.

Click on “Back” once you are done to return to the section icons.

If you own a service-based business, you may have a “Services” section icon with a bulleted list of services offered by businesses similar to yours.

To change the services you offer, just select any service icon to edit or delete the text.

Then click on “Save” to save your changes. You can also move this section up or down, or delete it entirely. Click the “Back” icon to return to the previous section.

Once you've received glowing reviews from your clients, make sure to add them to your website. Tap the "Reviews" icon to get started.

Inside "Reviews" you'll see the following:

Choose any existing review to make changes or delete it, and select the "Add" icon to insert a new review.

Hit "Save" to make your new review live, or "Cancel" and "Back" to return to the previous editor screen.

If you need to change the location of your business, you can select this icon to update your address. And just like the other sections, you can also change the order of this section within your website, or remove it.

When you select "Address" you have the option to enter a full business address or just the city, state, or region you do business in.

Once you’ve edited your location, click on “Save” and you will automatically be taken back to the section icons. If you don’t want to make any changes, you can click on “Cancel.”

The contact section includes your business’s phone number and a contact form for customers to fill out, along with several text sections and reorder/removal buttons.

Each section of the text, including the different fields of the contact form, can be customized by clicking on the appropriate icon.

Once you have customized each section to your preference, click on “Back” to return to the section icons.

The footer of your website allows you to add your social media and email links. Currently you may not reorder or remove the footer section.

If you click on “Social Media” you can choose from several popular social platforms and add your own social media page URL.

Once you have added your social media links, your website will show those icons in the footer of your website.

Click on “Back” to return to the section icons.
