Using a domain registered at Porkbun

Follow these simple steps to point your Porkbun domain to your website

  1. Log in to your Porkbun account and you should arrive at the Domain Management screen. If you're already logged in, click on ACCOUNT in the top-right corner and select "Domain Management" from the dropdown menu.

2. Locate your domain and click the "Details" button list to the right. In the domain Details area that appears, click the "Edit" option next to "DNS Records"

3. If you won't be using our web hosting or URL forwarder, you want to make sure you delete the default DNS records that point at 'pixie.porkbun.com' or 'pixie-parking.porkbun.com' by selecting the trash can icon.

4. To add DNS records, select the record type you would like to add from the "Type" drop-down, then enter the hostname and answer for the record. Click the "Add" button to add the record to DNS.

5. When you add/modify the A record, be sure it points to Zarla IP, the fields should be like:

  1. Type: A

  2. Host: (empty)

  3. Answer: 109.105.219.109 (Zarla’s IP address)

6. When you add/modify the CNAME record, be sure it points to Zarla’s site, the fields should be like:

  1. Type: CNAME

  2. Host: www

  3. Answer: custom.zarlasites.com

7. Click Add

Please note that DNS changes can take up to 24-48 hours to propagate globally.
