  2. Select the domain you'd like to update.

  3. Click DNS, DNS Zone File, or Manage DNS (wording varies depending on your Hostway interface).

Step 3: Add an A Record (Points to an IP Address)

An A Record connects your domain to a server using an IP address.

Steps:

  1. In your DNS Zone File, look for A Records or Add Record.

  2. Click Add New A Record (or similar).

Default is fine

Click Save or Add Record.

Step 4: Add a CNAME Record (Points to a URL / Hostname)

A CNAME Record points a hostname (like www) to another domain name.

Steps:

  1. In the DNS Zone File, find CNAME Records.

  2. Click Add New CNAME.

Fill in:

Note: If you see any other A name record and CNAME records that uses the same host/alias of @ for A name or www for CNAME except the Zarla records we want you to add, please delete those other ones.

Once you've finished all those steps, please let us know and we'll check that it is all pointed correctly and set your domain live.
