How to Manage or Update DNS Settings for Domains Purchased via domains.zarla.com

These steps apply only to domains purchased or transferred through domains.zarla.com. If your domain was purchased elsewhere (GoDaddy, Namecheap, Google, etc.), you’ll need to update DNS from that provider instead.

Step 1: Log In

  1. Log in using your account credentials.

Important: Your login for domains.zarla.com is separate from your Zarla website account at zarla.com, so it may be linked to a different email address. If you are unsure of your account details, please contact hello@zarla.com.

Step 2: Select "Your Domains"

  1. From your dashboard, click on the domain name you want to manage.

  2. Click "Nameservers & DNS" located in the left portion to edit/add the DNS Settings section.


Step 3: Edit DNS Records

From here, you scroll down and locate "DNS Records" you can:

  • Add or update A records (for website connection)

  • Add or update MX records (for email setup)

  • Add TXT records (for verification, SPF, DKIM, etc.)

  • Add CNAME records (for subdomains or verification)

Click "Add DNS Record".


Make the necessary changes and click Add Record.


Step 4: Edit Nameservers (only do this if you need to add/edit Nameservers for your domain)

If you wish to edit Nameservers, on same page, scroll up and locate "Nameservers" you can:

  • Add new Nameservers.

  • Edit or delete existing Nameservers.

Click "Edit nameserver".

Make the necessary changes and click Save.


Step 5: Allow Time for Changes

DNS updates can take anywhere from a few minutes up to 24 hours to fully propagate.
